”Sidewalk Comedy” with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra and musical director Eirik Hegdal brings associations to the 1920-30s in USA. Gambling and gangsters, Ellington and Vaudeville, The Jazz Age followed by the Great Depression. As if escaping from the economic crisis with prohibition and the like, these guys presents a fascinating album where all the everyday sorrows are forgotten.

”Sidewalk Comedy” has been touring Norway and was also presented at the European Jazz Meeting showcase at Jazzahead in Bremen in 2012 to stunning reviews, followed by festival appearances at Ottawa Jazz Festival and Rochester Jazz Festival in 2013.
